Our Trip Around The Sun  Robert, our waiter took this photo Noble and I I've known this man for four years now. He's seen so much of the chaos that is my life and somehow he still wanted to date me anyways. So, this weeks famous last words are a reflection of my gratitude for the one I love. He is pretty dang awesome.  Have we really been hanging out together and dating for an entire year already? These last twelve months with you have flown by in such a blur and I've hardly had a moment to catch my breath. You've flipped my entire world upside down. (Or is it finally right side up?) Everything I thought I knew of love and affection and authenticity pales in the wake of the light you have brought to my life. It sure feels good to be able to smile from my heart. After all is said and done, with all of these magical moments in between, you are still here. You still got me. If everything I've been through is what brought me to you then I wouldn't change...

Wha-HA-Haaaa So, with ten thousand adventures and tasks on my to-do list, I thought I'd debrief on a bit of my day.  I have been without a working garbage disposal for a couple months now. It has been excruciating lately. It was a bit after midnight, after several other tasks complete, when I went to go do the dishes... Side note: I get asked often how I do this, "How do you do school and raise two kids..." etc. The answer is that I do these tasks while my children are sleeping. End of story.  Maybe when I graduate I will have more time to sleep.  I am nearly gagging. Something smells so  awful in my sink and I cannot do anything but wade through the dishes until the sinks are empty and the dishwasher full. The smell is still there and I am furious.  UGHHH It's that damned garbage disposal. With the broken machinery not working, it's basically become this pool for bacteria, mold, gunk. That is just so, so gross.  Garbage Disp...

New York City Tim Burton's Restaurant in NYC- Picture taken by myself Hard work, work-Literary analysis for my ENGL Capstone course picture taken by me  Okay, so I did a thing that I do not advise any of you do. I skipped half a week of school to go to New York City with one of my girlfriends. Eeeek! (Her name is also, Sara- no "h") Together, we make Sara(h)^2. It's funny and you can laugh. I have dreamt of going to New York City since I was very little. Until last week, I had never gone! When I heard there was a Tim Burton restaurant called, Beetle House opening up in NYC, that just reignited that dream and I have longed to go ever since. Its been years, always planning, never quite being able to make it out. This year, I DID! I made reservations for the place LAST YEAR to be able to go to this restaurant on Halloween day. We literally planned and took this trip JUST for the Tim Burton restaurant. It was the very most incredible experience EVER. Wow, ...

New York Bound! Yours truly- the Piñata has been decapitated  After a very long and interesting week I am super pumped to know that Wednesday morning I will be flying out to NYC for Halloween. This is an absolute dream come true for me and I have longed to go for many years now. It is so often and so easily dismissed that when dreaming, the cost belongs somewhere in a category of the cosmic and ethereal variety. I just don't get it! I want the things that I dream about to come true. I want to fight for it! I want to see and experience the imagination that runs rampant in my brain space. Don't you? What is it that we can do to accomplish all that we set our hearts to? I just figure that if it is on your heart and you also cannot get an idea off your mind; well, you likely ought to follow through with that curiosity. I hope that you will try in any case.  Some inspiration from Facebook I got to spend a super incredible weekend with my favorite gu...

today Holy crow, does it ever stop? I am so glad to know that we are more than halfway through with classes for this semester, but man, I am beat. I feel like I say this every week. (and its true) I want to get to a place where I am not waiting until after midnight on Sunday each week to get my work done for this class, and others. I don't know.. maybe I added too much on my plate. Or maybe school isn't designed for a single mom with two young children to be taking 18 hours worth of course work. Regardless, here I am and here I will stay. I've went through several tea light candles and lots of coffee this week. I am still being productive, though in the procrastinating variety... No judgments! I made some yummy paleo chili this week. Wanna know what the craziest ingredient was? (Im telling you anyways!) It was PUMPKIN PUREE. Isn't that just absolutely banana pants? I might be a little delirious at the moment, which is also okay. I'm just tired and have to take...

What a week... Y'all (non-existent readers) I am so tired. I know I have said this before but whoa, do I feel so silly for signing up for 18 hours worth of course work. Why did I do that to myself? Self-sabotage, I tell yah. This weekend I attending a women's gathering for the ministry that I participate in called, Karis Fellowships. These women and their wisdom astound me and I am so very glad that I was able to have to opportunity to come join in this weekend. I learned a lot and feel like I've made new friends in the process, which feels so rare! My time gets all tied up between being a single mother to two kids and trying to get this damned degree of mine. The great thing about this nice little retreat, is that these women all have this same common goal to being the best that we all can be, as children of God and following the path that He has paved for us. I Am So Glad Last Week  Is OVER Disney Mural Progress Update- Picture taken by Blue My "Famous Last Words" for the  previous week is an elaborate array of expletives and on exhausted, "I made it!" Come to think of it, I've probably quit college a couple of times already this semester; something  always seems to help pull me through though. I  can't have my girls thinking that it's okay to be giving  up on their goals and such, right?  Outside of school, my eldest has a newly and first, very wiggly tooth. It is quite the subject of conversation for our weekend.  My youngest Emmy,  was having such a rough time with this terrible cough, poor baby. One of the rough parts of being a parent is having to sit back and watch your kiddo struggle with  something that you can't just fix; it is such a bummer and breaks my heart. This coming weekend, we have a Girl Scouts camping trip at an alpaca farm. That sounds super fun and I know Lissy...
